Clinically urgent referrals will continue.

Some amendments to location may be required for community sites.

Please make referrals as usual and patients will be contacted by the imaging department to arrange.

If you have an urgent enquiry; please go through switchboard 01392 404060 and ask for the X-ray secretaries, who will locate a radiologist for you to speak with.

Please ensure that a practice-based system is in place to check daily for returning referrals with Advice & Guidance (A&G).

Prior to making a routine referral, please ensure that any appropriate Policy or Clinical Referral Guideline (CRG) has been reviewed and that all the suggested investigations and management options have been considered.
