NDDH Radiology waiting times - April 2024 update
Please find below approximate waiting times for Radiology examinations as of April 2024:

MRI | 1-2 weeks | 4-5 weeks | 6 weeks |
USS | usually within 2-3 weeks | 2-4 weeks (consultant slots may be longer) | 10-12 weeks |
X-RAY | Within 1 week | Within 4 weeks | Within 4 weeks |
DEXA | 2 week wait rule | within 3-4 weeks | 5-8 weeks (due to staffing levels could change to 5-12 wks within the mth) |
Interventional | 2 week wait rule | within 2 weeks | 2-6 weeks |

Please note : We have reinstated the walk in service for CXR in the Radiology Department at NDDH. The service will operate between the hours of 9am-4pm.
Can I ask that any patients attend with their form in hand and that all referrals are completed correctly, with a full clinical information, including smoking history, otherwise this may result in delays or patients not being imaged at the time of attendance.
