Alteplase

Streptokinase
  • Injection 1.5 million units
Tenecteplase
  • Powder and solvent for solution for injection vial 5,000units, 8,000units, 10,000units

Notes

  1. NICE TA990: Tenecteplase (Metalyse) is recommended, within its marketing authorisation, as an option for the thrombolytic treatment of an acute ischaemic stroke in adults (July 2024):
    1. within 4.5 hours of the onset of stroke symptoms, and
    2. when intracranial haemorrhage has been excluded.
