17.8.2 Light-weight conforming bandages

Light-weight conforming bandages are used for dressing retention, with the aim of keeping the dressing close to the wound without inhibiting movement or restricting blood flow. The elasticity of conforming-stretch bandages (also termed contour bandages) is greater than that of cotton conforming bandages.

  • 4m stretched: 6cm (£0.15), 8cm (£0.19), 10cm (£0.21), 12cm (£0.26)

K-Band

(Fabric, knitted warp of polyamide filament, weft of cotton or viscose, fast edges, one continuous length)

  • 4m stretched: 5cm (£0.22), 7cm (£0.28), 10cm (£0.30), 15cm (£0.54)
